Ingredients (serves 4):
The hardest part is choosing the flavour. Any of our Rooibos teas work with this recipe. Tick Tock Original, Rooibos Breakfast, Rooibos Vanilla, Rooibos Mint, Rooibos Evening Blend, Rooibos Camomile and Cape Malay Rooibos Chai.
- 4 or 5 Rooibos Teabags
- 2 litres (3 ½ pints) of water, boiling or warm (but not from the tap!)
- Honey, sugar or lemon to taste (crushed ice is optional)
Directions :
You can put the bags in the water when you make your morning cuppa, allow to cool, and stick the jug in the fridge, ready for when you need it. Or to cool down in a hurry put the bags in ½ pint of boiled water and add the honey or sugar. Leave for 5 minutes then add 2½ pints of cold water and a big glass of ice.
